The Choir is always keen to welcome new members, whatever their level of experience.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7.00 pm to 9.15 pm in the Westlands Methodist Hall, Pilkington Avenue, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

We hope you will enjoy your first experience of singing with us. Don't worry if it all seems rather daunting at first - we all started from the same position as beginners!

Within your first few weeks of attending rehearsals the Chorus Master will take the opportunity to discuss with you, privately, your vocal range and abilities. New choristers are auditioned by the Chorus Master, after rehearsals, the audition consisting of a simple voice test and some exercises to test aural response. The ability to sight read is an advantage but is not demanded.

If successful at this informal audition you will be given further information about the choir concert dress and details of how to register your attendance at rehearsals, etc.
